I found my purpose in food. We were never a baking and cooking house. We were a follow the directions on the back of the box type house. It took 30 years for me to decide there had to be more to food then what I was exposing myself to. So I set out to become a better cook and baker. I wanted my son to see that food can be fresh and beautiful. That vegetables are not the enemy and can be delicious.

Any donations you make here will go towards keeping the blog going and forwarding my education. My dreams include going to culinary school in London and being able to start a small food styling and catering business. I want to be there to help people celebrate lifes moments. I want to make things that make people happy especially after the year we have had. I want to provide a better life for my son. You can help me do that.
